How do you see communication and critical thinking impacting your future role as a leader in the workplace?    The excerpt states that loss of revenue in organizations is often the result of poor communication practice. Ineffective communication is one of the main causes of misunderstandings in the workplace. Because of its damaging effects on co-worker relationships, ineffective communication can limit an organization's ability to optimize its productivity and performance.   As a future leader, I believe that proper critical thinking can help promote good communication in the workplace. Sherwyn Morreale, Michael Osborn & Judy Pearson, Professors of Communication (2000) The professors in the above statement are highlighting the importance of communication in the working world. And I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. I believe that communication in the workplace isn't just about having a message sent and received accurately. It's also about building relationships, minimizing errors, and most importantly, working as efficiently as possible .  Good communication leads to consistency and productivity in the workplace.
